Kecemasan Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Dalam Penyelesaian Studi Di Fakultas Psikologi Univesrsitas Indonesia Timur

The purpose of this study was to determine how anxious final year
students are in completing their studies at the Psychology Faculty of the
University of East Indonesia. This research uses qualitative research with
phenemenological methods. This can be seen from the procedures applied, namely
"research procedures that produce descriptive data: speech or writing and
behavior, physical symptoms experienced which can be observed from the people
(subjects) themselves". While the data collection techniques using observation,
interviews, documentation, and biographies. The subject selection technique uses
exponential non-discriminatory snowbal sampling. Subjects in this study
amounted to 3 people. The results showed that final year students' anxiety in
completing their studies at the psychology faculty came from their thoughts and
feelings, which were then shown from their behavior and physiological symptoms
experienced. As for other factors that affect the anxiety of final year students in
completing studies, especially in the psychology faculty of the University of East
Indonesia. Demands from parents, deadlines in thesis writing, and lack of
motivation in completing studies.
