Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of nurses'
self-control on patient aggressiveness in the hospital in Makassar, with a
quantitative approach to text the correlation test of the influence of the
independent variable of Self Control with the dependent variable of
Aggressiveness.
With aspects of self-control a. behavioral control, b. cognitive
control, c. control decisions, d. Over Control, e. Under control, f.
Appropriate control, and on aspects of aggression include a. Self defense,
b. Discipline resistance, c. Egocentric, d. Superiority, e. Prejudice, f.
Authoritarian. The population in this study amounted to 460 nurses and
214 samples. Then the results were found that the higher the nurse's self
control, the lower the patient's aggressiveness, meaning that the higher the
nurse's self-control is given, the lower the aggressiveness of the patients.
