Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Calon Siswa Menggunakan Metode AHP Dan TOPSIS Studi Kasus SMU Negeri 3 Bulukumba

The selection process for prospective new students at SMU 3 Bulukumba
is carried out by forming a selection committee consisting of teachers and
school staff. Selection is carried out by filling out an administration form by
parents or guardians of students, then prospective students take written
tests and interviews. The selection committee will provide an assessment
of the results of the assessment of written tests and interviews and
administration forms that have been obtained. The lack of transparency in
assessing and supervising directly from the principal allows the graduation
subjectivity to occur and requires a relatively longer time. This final
assignment applies the New Student Admission Selection Decision
Support System using AHP and TOPSIS methods. AHP method is used
for weighting criteria while alternative weighting and ranking are carried
out using TOPSIS. This system was built using the PHP programming
language and the database using MySql. The test results show that this
system succeeded in giving priority to the names of prospective students
who made recommendations by the selection committee to be accepted or
graduated at the school.
