Analisis Faktor Yang Berpengaruh Terhadap Status Karies Gigi Sulung Pada Anak Kelas Satu SD Inpres Perumnas Antang I Makassar

Deciduous dental caries is still a public health problem of children under 6 years of
background for the importance of this research.Various factor slead to dental caries eldest son,
knowledge, behavior and dental health education.This study aimed to analyze the factors that
affect the status of deciduous teeth caries.This research usesa causal relationship approach to
determine the influence of knowledge, behavior and health education to thedental caries status
of deciduous teethin first Grade one elementary Inpres Perumnas Antang I Makassar. Samples
were 22 respondents.
The results showed that the percentage of caries in deciduous teeth in first Grade one
elementary Inpres Perumnas Antang I Makassar respondents over all Makassar have deciduous
teeth caries (low status). Based on the resultsof the respondents to the knowledgeis in the
categoryof less(68%) where respondents do not regularly brushing and irregular teeth check
edin to the causes ofprimary teeth caries. Tothe behavior of respondents of ten do notbrush
their teeth after eating candy, not of ten consume vegetables and fruits and still drink milk
bottles every day to be the causeof dental caries eldest where categorized bad(54%). Dental
health education to the respondents in both categories(86%), where the child is doing how to
brush your teeth properly.
It is recommended that preventive measures for the prevention of dental caries perform
edeldest UKGS off icers more attention from teachers and from teachers to parents respondent
submitted.
