Analisis Hubungan Dukugan Keluarga Dengan Kecemasan Pada Lansia Di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Gau Mabaji Kabupaten Gowa

Anxiety is a major mental health problem today. This is very important
because people with depressed productivity will decline and this is very
bad consequences for a society, nation and state. People who experience
anxiety are the ones who suffer greatly.
The purpose of this research is to know the existence of support,
informational, reward and emotional relationship at Tresna Werdha Gau
Mabaji Social House of Gowa Regency.
The design of this study used an analytic observational research design
using cross sectional approach (transversal), population 100 people,
sampling of this study using simple random sampling technique to obtain
80 respondents samples, the data collection tool used questionnaires to
find out "Is there a family support relationship with depression in the
elderly at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution Gau Mabaji Gowa "
The result is if on SPSS version 22 using 2x2 table with Chi-Square test
with significance level table α = 0.05. The result of bivariate relationship of
informational support with anxiety in elderly that is p = 0,029, relationship
of appreciation support with anxiety in elderly that is p = 0,057 and
emotional support relationship with anxiety at elderly that is p = 0,003.
The conclusions in this study are the existence of the relationship of
informational support, appreciation support and emotional support with the
anxiety of the elderly in the Social House Tresna Werdha Gau Mabaji
Gowa District
