Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian Stunting Pada Balita Usia 24-59 Bulan Di Puskesmas Bajo Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan

This type of research is descriptive analytic research with a quantitative
approach and cross-sectoral study design. The sampling technique in this study
was purposive sampling with a total of 85 subjects. The subjects in the study were
mothers of toddlers, and toddlers themselves. The data collected included subject
characteristics, stunting characteristics, mother's height, mother's knowledge,
feeding patterns, exclusive breastfeeding and birth weight.
The results showed that most (78.8%) of the research subjects experienced
stunting. Based on the chi-square test, it is known that there is a relationship
between maternal height and stunting, with a value of 0.003 and a correlation
coefficient of 0.341. There is a relationship between mother's knowledge and
stunting, with a value of 0.003 and a correlation coefficient of -0.327. There is a
significant relationship between feeding patterns and stunting, with a value of
0.002 and a correlation coefficient of -0.361. There is a relationship between
exclusive breastfeeding and stunting, with a value of 0.006 and a correlation
coefficient of – 0.323. There is a relationship between birth weight and stunting,
with a value of 0.002, and a correlation coefficient of -0.351.
