Factors Related to Nurses' Performance in the Inpatient Room of West Sulawesi Provincial Hospital

The performance of nurses in a hospital is closely related to the source
of skilled, reliable and professional human resources. The decrease in the
performance of nurses greatly affects the service image of a hospital in the
community. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors related to the
performance of nurses in the Inpatient Room of the Regional General Hospital of
West Sulawesi Province. Analytical descriptive type with a cross-sectional design
with a population of 130 people with a sample of 57 respondents. Since the
sample is spread across various classes, the Proportional Random Sampling
technique is used. The instrument used in this study was made in the form of a
questionnaire using the Gutmann scale. This analysis uses a chi-square test (Chi�square) and the statistical test used is usually linear regression (multiple
regression). Research results There is a relationship between motivation and nurse
performance (p = 0.000), there is a relationship between work facilities and nurse
performance (p = 0.000), there is a relationship between training and nurse
performance (p = 0.000) and there is a relationship between service rewards and
nurse performance in the ward hospitalization in West Sulawesi Provincial
Hospital (p = 0.000). The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship
between motivation, work facilities, training and service rewards with the
performance of nurses in the inpatient room of the West Sulawesi Provincial
Hospital.
