Hubungan Pengetahuan Tentang Keputihan Dan Sikap Personal Hygiene Terhadap Kejadian Keputihan (Fluor Albus) Pada Siswi SMA Negeri 19 Gowa

Background. In reproductive health there are several things that often happen to
women, one of which is vaginal discharge. Leukorrhea is usually termed vaginal
discharge / fluor albus / white discharge. Leukorrhea is a form of vaginal
discharge, which is an event of excessive discharge but not blood coming from the
vagina, while vaginal discharge itself is a common term used by the general
public to refer to vaginal candidiasis that occurs in the female area.
Objective. Knowing the relationship between knowledge about vaginal discharge
and personal hygiene attitudes towards vaginal discharge in female students of
SMA Negeri 19 Gowa.
Methods. This study used a correlational descriptive research design and was
carried out in a cross-sectional manner. Knowledge and attitudes of personal
hygiene with female student vaginal discharge were measured using
predetermined research instruments. The sample used in this study was 71
respondents. The measurement results were analyzed using the fisherexact test.
Results. After processing the data it is known that there is a relationship between
knowledge and the incidence of vaginal discharge with a value of p = 0.000 and
there is a significant relationship between personal hygiene attitudes and the
incidence of vaginal discharge with a value of p = 0.003
Conclusion. There is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of personal
hygiene towards the incidence of vaginal discharge in SMA Negeri 19 Gowa
students
Suggestion. From the results of this study the researchers suggested that SMA
Negeri 19 Gowa students improve their insight and knowledge about reproductive
health
