Analisis Pengaruh Menarche Terhadap Pencegahan Infeksi Saluran Reproduksi (ISR) Siswi Kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah Lajoa Kabupaten Soppeng

Menarche is the first menstrual period that occurs during a
woman's puberty. Menarche is an important sign for a woman that
shows the normal production of hormones made by the hypothalamus
and then transmitted to the ovaries and uterus. For about two years
these hormones will stimulate the growth of secondary sex
characteristics such as breast growth, skin growth, cycle changes,
axillary and pubic hair growth and body shape into the ideal female
body shape.
This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional
study design, namely the study measuring the independent variable and
the dependent variable taken simultaneously to analyze the effect of
menarche on the prevention of reproductive tract infections. The
instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Questionnaire is a
measuring tool in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The
population is all seventh grade students who are in SMP
Muhammadiyah Lajoa, Soppeng Regency. A total of 35 people. The
sample in this study were 35 respondents. Data analysis used in this
research is Univariate Analysis, Bivariate Analysis and Multivariate
Analysis. The results showed that the analysis of the effect of menarche
on the prevention of reproductive tract infections (ISR) was health
education (p = 0.02), knowledge (p = 0.01), age at menarche (p = 0.01),
and sources of information (p = 0.04).
The conclusion in this study is that of the four variables there is
a significant relationship between health education, knowledge, age of
menarche and sources of information, but of the four variables the most
influential on the prevention of reproductive tract infections (ISR) is
knowledge.
