Analisis Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Usia Menopause di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tajuncu Kabupaten Soppeng

Menopause is a period of natural cessation of menstruation or a
period in which a woman experiences her last menstrual bleeding and
never gets her period again.
To analyze factors related to menopause age, identification was
carried out through grouping postmenopausal women based on age at
menarche, nutritional status, hormonal contraception and family history.
The research method is analytic with the Cross Sectional Study approach
using primary data, namely 90 postmenopausal women. Data were
analyzed using quantitative descriptive research. Sampling technique
used in this study is by means of Purposive sampling.
The results of the study concluded that in the indicator of age at
menarche, Chi square count is greater than Chi Square tables (17,83 >
3.841) then Ha was is accepted and Ho is rejected so that there is a
relationship between age of menarche and age of menopause. In the
nutritional status indicator, the Chi squared count is greater than the Chi
Square table (17.2 > 3.841), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected so
that there is a relationship between nutritional status and age of
menopause. In the indicator of hormonal contraception, the Chi square
count is smaller than the Chi Square table (0.70 < 3.841), then Ho is
accepted and Ha is rejected so that there is no relationship between
hormonal contraception and menopause age. Meanwhile, in the family
history indicator, Chi square count is greater than Chi Square table (30.04
> 3.841), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected so that there is a
relationship between family history and age of menopause. Of the four
indicators, the most related to the age of menopause is family history.
Thus, it is suggested the need for counseling or counseling to the
public about factors related to menopause age, especially factors that can
accelerate menopause.
