Analisis Faktor Risiko Kejadian Stunting Pada Anak Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bontonompo II Kabupaten Gowa

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem caused by insufficient nutritional
intake.. In the first 1000 days of life, good nutrition must be maintained so that
problems do not occur afterwards. The first thousand days of life is
fertilization/pregnancy plus the age of 2 toddlers, so researchers are interested in
taking research on "Analysis of Risk Factors for Stunting in Children in the Work
Area of the Bontonompo II Health Center, Gowa Regency.
The design/research design used in this study was a case control survey,
using a retrospective control study approach where the number of samples was 42
cases and 42 with a ratio of 1:1 with a total control population of 84 people.
primary data collection in this study was by using a questionnaire which was
distributed directly to the respondents regarding the Risk Factors for Stunting in
Children. Then it was analyzed using the Chi Squared Test and Logistic
Regression to see how big the risk factors are for stunting.
The results show that the significant risk variables for stunting include
maternal education, maternal knowledge, maternal occupation, family income,
deworming status, low birth weight, birth length, exclusive breastfeeding, history
of infectious diseases and immunization status and family income variables. The
variable most related to the incidence of stunting was 19.9 times accompanied by
a 95% confidence interval (CI) (Cl 95%), the Lower Limit (LL) value was 3.389
and the Upper Limit (UL) 117.232 in children in the working area of the
Bontonompo II District Health Center. Gowa. In conclusion, LBW is the variable
with the greatest risk of stunting with a value of 12.025. Suggestions for the
Bontonompo II Community Health Center are that it is hoped that Health officers
will further improve posyandu services at PUSTU for babies and toddlers,
especially in measuring the weight and height of babies and toddlers to prevent
malnutrition, providing education and counseling to pregnant women.
