Hubungan Terapis Gigi dan Mulut Terhadap Keberhasilan UKGS (Usaha Kesehatan Gigi Sekoilah) di Mis Sawakong Kab. Takalar

Teeth and Oral Hygieneis a part of body health that can not bese parated from other health. This
research aimed at identifying there lationship between the oral and dental therapists on the
successness of UKGS (School Dental Health Enterprises) in MIS Sawakong Kab. Takalar. The
research type used analytic observational techniques with cross sectional methods, the sampling
in this research used a simple random sampling because the subjects were taken randomly.The
research results were processed by using the Chi square test. It was known that the percentage of
respondents with a high level of knowledge of students showed that the role of oral and dental
therapists was greater with a significant value of p = 0.570> (0.05).The research conclusion
stated that there was a relationship between oral and dental therapists on the successness of
UKGS (School Dental Health Business) activities in Mis Sawakong Kab. Takalar.The research is
expected to the school in order to conduct education on oral health on a regular basis so that in
the future children are more knowledgeable and well behaved in maintaining oral health.
