Analisis Pengaruh Perkembangan Sistem Informasi Kesehatan terhadap Pengobatan secara Rasional di RS Salewangan Kabupaten Maros

The rational use of drugs is the accuracy of the assessment of the patient's condition,
the right diagnosis, the right indication, the right type of drug, the right dose, the
right method and duration of administration, the right information, patient
compliance, and side effect alert. The rational treatment can prevent the impact of
inappropriate drug use and increase patient confidence in the quality of health
services. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of the
development of health information systems on the rational treatment at Salewangan
Hospital, Kab. Maros. The research used a level of explanation which explained the
position and influence of the variables studied, with 45 samples of outpatients at
Salewangan Maros Hospital who were selected by accidental sampling. Based on
the results of the multiple logistic regression test, it was obtained p > 0.05, it can be
concluded that there was no influence between the variables of patient attitudes,
consumptive patterns, drug resistance and side effects with rational treatment. So it
is suggested that further research is needed to find the most influencing factors for
rational treatment with this type of qualitative research.
