Identifikasi Tanaman Yang Berkhasiat Sebagai Obat Diabetes Melitus di Desa Kassi Kecamatan Rumbia Kabupaten Jeneponto

Research has been carried out on the identification of plants that are
efficacious as drugs for diabetes mellitus in Kassi Village, Rumbia District,
Jeneponto Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the types
and ways of using medicinal plants that are efficacious as a treatment for
Diabetes Mellitus in Kassi Village, Rumbia District, Jeneponto Regency.
The method of this research is to identify and record plants that are
efficacious as Diabetes Mellitus drugs and conduct direct interviews with
the people of Kassi Village, Rumbia District, Jeneponto Regency to obtain
medicinal plants that are efficacious as Diabetes Mellitus drugs. Based on
the results of this study, it was shown that the people of Kassi Village,
Rumbia District, Jeneponto Regency used medicinal plants originating
from their home yards and gardens which were their own plants and
obtained 24 types of plants and 22 families. The method of processing
plants or medicinal plants is done by drinking and consuming them
directly. The plant parts used are generally in the form of leaves, fruit, and
tubers.
