Aktivitas Antibakteri Fraksi n-Butanol Kulit Buah Naga Merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus) Dalam Menghambat Pertumbuhan Staphylococcus epidermidis dan Propionibacterium acne

Research has been carried out on the activity of the n-butanol fraction of dragon fruit peel (Hylocereus polyrhizus) as an antibacterial against the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acnes. The purpose of this study was to test the activity of the n-butanol fraction of dragon fruit peel (Hylocereus polyrhizus) made in various concentrations of 20 mg/mL, 40 mg/mL and 80 mg/mL as antibacterial against the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acnes. The results of the research on the activity of the n-butanol fraction of dragon fruit peel (Hylocereus polyrhizus) as an antibacterial against the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis for 1x24 hours, the results showed that the concentration of 20 mg/mL was 6.92 mm; 40 mg/mL ie 9.92 mm; 80 mg/mL is 10.66 mm and the negative control is 6 mm, and in a 2x24 hour study the results obtained for a concentration of 20 mg/mL are 6.69 mm; 40 mg/mL ie 9.39 mm; 80 mg/mL is 9.91 mm and the negative control is 6 mm. And for the growth of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria for 1x24 hours the results were obtained for a concentration of 20 mg/mL, namely 6.62 mm; 40 mg/mL ie 8.40 mm; 80 mg/mL is 10.42 mm and the negative control is 6 mm, and in a 2x24 hour study the results for a concentration of 20 mg/mL were 6.35 mm; 40 mg/mL ie 7.63 mm; 80 mg/mL is 9.72 mm and the negative control is 6 mm.
