Research has been conducted on the Antibacterial Effectiveness of
Ethanol Extract of Songgolangit Leaves (Tridax procumbens L) Against
the Growth of Basillus cereus. This study aims to determine the
antibacterial effectiveness of the ethanolic extract of Songgolangit leaves
on the growth of Bacillus cereus, as well as at what concentration is the
most effective. /v, 5% w/v and 7%w/v and test bacteria Bacillus cereus.
Research shows that the ethanolic extract of songgo langi leaves is
effective as an antibacterial in inhibiting the growth of Basillus cereus. The
diameter of the inhibition zone for each concentration of 1% w/v, 3% w/v, 5
%w/v and 7% w/v was 6.63 mm, 9.23 mm, 10.7 mm, 13.2 mm and for
positive control 19.2 mm, negative control 6 mm. The most effective
concentration was at a concentration of 7% w/v with an average zone of
inhibition of 19.2 mm. The statistical test using SPSS 24 (Statistical
Product and Service Solutions) based on Analysis of Variance (ANAVA)
showed a significant (significant) difference between treatments at the
level of P = 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion Songgolangit is effective as an
antibacterial against Bacillus cereus and the most effective concentration
is 7% w/v.
