This study aims to analyze and determine the total phenolic content
contained in the leaf extract of Glodokan Tiang (Polyalthia longifolia) using
the Visible Spectrophotometric method. The research sample was the
leafextract of Glodokan Tiang (Polyalthia longifolia) which was taken from
thecity of Makassar. This type of research is a laboratory experimental
study to analyze the total phenolic content of Glodokan Tiang (Polyalthia
longifolia) leaf extract with are search design using Visible
Spectrophotometry method. Based on the results of the research, data
analysis and discussion obtained, it can be conclude that the total phenolic
contentin the leaf extract of Glodokan Tiang (Polyalthia longifolia) is
0.051539 mg/g and in 100 grams of the sample has a total phenolic
content of 5.1539 mg/100g.
