This study aims to determine the presence of flavanoid groups in n�Butanol extract of Rukam Leaf (Flacourtia rukam Zoll & Mor) originating
from Maiwa District Endrekang Regency using Visible Ultraviolet
Spectrophotometry. In this study a preliminary test using Zn Powder and
Concentrated HCl showed positive flavonoids. Then depending on 2-
dimensional TLC so the appearance is purple on a UV lamp with a
wavelength of 366 nm, then absorption is collected on the UV-vis
spectrophotometry to obtain the absorption of 308.0 nm with a value of
0.684.
