Analisis kadar flavonoid pada ekstrak daun jati (Tectona grandis L) pada daerah Kabupaten Bulukumba

A study was conducted on the analysis of levels of flavonoids in jati leaf
extract (Tectona grandis L) in the area of Bulukumba Regency. The
purpose of this study was to determine levels of flavonoids in jati Leaves
extract (Tectona grandis L) from Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi.
This research uses the UV-Visible Spectrophotometry method, this
method is often recommended for analyzing compound levels because it is
sensitive, very specific for the compound to be analyzed, the process is
simple and gives good precision. The results showed that the ethanol
extract of jati leaves contained flavanoid compounds. This is evidenced by
the change in purplish red color that occurs after the addition of
concentrated HCl reagents and Mg metals. Obtained levels of each
replication I was 2.0185 mg/gram, replication II was 2.0824 mg/gram and
replication III was 2.2101 mg/gram, and average flavanoid compound
levels obtained were 2.1036 mg/gram
