Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Inisiasi Menyusu Dini pada Bayi Baru Lahir di Puskesmas Wangi-Wangi Kabupaten Wakatobi

Based on WHO data in 2020, the coverage of colostrum breastfeeding for
newborns is still very low, which is only about 40% of pregnant women who give
birth worldwide giving colostrum breast milk to their babies. Therefore, WHO
recommends all pregnant women who give birth to immediately breastfeed their
babies (Yanwirasti, 2020)
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the initiation of early
breastfeeding in newborns at the Wangi-Wangi Health Center, Wakatobi Regency
in 2022. This research uses quantitative research with a cross sectional study
approach, by taking 159 mothers who are in the area of the Wangi-Wangi Health
Center, Wakatobi Regency as a sample. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test
and continued with double Regression.
The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and
family support with early initiation of breastfeeding in maternity mothers in the
Wangi-Wangi Health Center, Wakatobi Regency at least 6 months after birth
