Pengaruh Pupuk Kompos Limbah Batang Pisang dan Kotoran Sapi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Jati (Tectona grandis)

Teak (tectona grandis) belongs to the verbenaceae family, is a typical Indonesian plant that
has good texture and quality, so the development and improvement of seed quality needs to
be update with various alternatives to continue to produce superior seeds. This reserch was
conducted at the regional technical implementation unit forest plant nursery Makassar city
from December to February 2021. This study aims to determine the effect of banana steam
waste compost and cow dung on the growth of teak seedlings, stem diameter and the addition
of the number of leaves, with a dose consisting of 4 levels, namely 0 kilograms, 2 kilograms,
3 kilograms and 4 kilograms compost. The date ware analyzed statistically by analysis of
variance followed by a real difference test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a
significant effect on all observation parameters with treatment of 4 kilograms of compost 10
centimeters with a stem diameter of 0,24 centimeters and the addition of 8,6 leaves at the
time of observation 55 days after planting.
