Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan Mutu Guru di MTs Wahyu Mandiri Kabupaten Gowa

This study aims to explain the implementation of the principal's
transformational leadership in improving the quality of teachers at MTs Wahyu
Mandiri, Gowa Regency which is described in depth, the models and styles and steps
for their application in improving the quality of teachers at MTs Wahyu Mandiri,
Gowa Regency as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing this
leadership style. transformational principals in improving the quality of teachers at
MTs Wahyu Mandiri, Gowa Regency.
The type of research used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive
approach. Collecting data through interviews with 12 informants, observing and
reviewing documents. The data analysis technique uses three paths, namely data
presentation, reduction and conclusion drawing. Meanwhile, the informants as
resource persons are the principal, teacher, and the head of the Gowa Regency
Independent revelation foundation.
The results showed that the head of MTs Transformational leadership. Wahyu
Mandiri, Gowa Regency, in applying a leadership style in carrying out his duties to
improve the quality of teachers at MTs Wahyu Mandiri, Gowa Regency, by
approaching through the application of abilities possessed as a prerequisite
competency of a principal by PMA 58 of 2017 in the form of application through
ideal influence or charisma. , individual considerations, intellectual stimulation and
inspirational motivation aimed at improving the quality of teachers at the Wahyu
Mandiri MTs, Gowa Regency. As well as obstacles in implementing the principal's
leadership style are the limited facilities owned by the school and the low discipline
of teachers in carrying out the tasks given.
